This is the second of Vancouver Farmers Markets' two winter markets, and it runs the longer season. More than 50 farms and producers set up each Sunday at Kitsilano Secondary School, on West 10th Avenue at Trafalgar Street. Food and coffee trucks park beside them, and there are racks for bikes.
Every vendor makes, bakes, grows or catches what they sell, and Vancouver Farmers Markets admits only producers from British Columbia. The market opens rain or shine. Dogs are welcome on a short leash under the society's own rules.
