- The three-storey Pyramid holds a Glühwein bar on its ground floor and a music stage on top, and the daily Prost Show toast happens beneath it at 7 pm.

- New for 2026 are the Wishing Forest, a fire pit lounge, a tree-shaped collectible mug and a cocktail hut that serves through a hidden window.
Malte Kluetz grew up with the Christmas markets of Germany and opened this one in 2010. More than 90 wooden huts fill Jack Poole Plaza beside the Vancouver Convention Centre. Bratwurst and Glühwein lead the food lanes, and vegetarian and vegan dishes sit throughout. The three-storey Pyramid at the centre has a Glühwein bar on its ground floor and live music on top.
Until 4 December the market opens at 4 pm on weekdays and 11:30 am on weekends. From 5 December it opens at 11:30 am every day and stays open to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 19 to 23 December it runs from 10 am to 10 pm. A single ticket books a 30-minute arrival window. You can stay as long as you like once inside, and re-entry isn't allowed.
The box office and every alcohol hut take cards only, and a drink needs two pieces of ID. Pets stay home, since the market admits only service animals under its food licensing rules. Waterfront Station is about 10 minutes away on foot, and the SeaBus from Lonsdale Quay lands there. The market is grateful to gather on the traditional and ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Worth knowing
- For a quieter visit the organizers suggest Monday to Thursday between 4 and 6 pm, or the first two hours of a weekend day.
- On a busy December weekend a season pass helps, because it skips the time-slot booking and uses a priority lane at the gate.
- There's no ATM on site, so bring a card or pick up cash at Waterfront Centre across from Canada Place.
