Nita Lake Lodge calls Creekside the original Whistler, and the neighbourhood still has its own gondola station, which loads for Whistler Mountain in winter. You can start a ski day here and never see the Village. Creekside stands on the shared, unceded territory of the Líl̓wat Nation and the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), as the Resort Municipality of Whistler acknowledges.

Over at Creekbread the organic flatbreads come out of a hand-built clay oven, and happy hour runs from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Nita Lake Lodge stands on the lake beside the Whistler train station, and its guests can ride a courtesy shuttle to the Village when it has room. In October 2026 its Lakeside Lounge served a $38 three-course fall dinner every night from 5:30 pm, and walk-ins were welcome. Fix Cafe in the same building opens at 6:30 am with Salt Spring Island Coffee and house-made plant-based ice cream.
