Nita Lake Lodge
Nita Lake Lodge stands on the shore of Nita Lake beside the Whistler train station, and the lodge calls this part of the valley the original Whistler. Suites run from studios to two-level two-bedroom units, and every room has a basalt gas fireplace. The lodge says the One Bedroom Lake View Suite is its most popular, and it looks over the glacier-fed lake. The lodge guarantees a balcony or patio in its one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, so book one of those to sit outside.
Winter guests get free snowshoes and slopeside ski lockers, and skis stay out of the rooms. The lakeside hot tub and plunge pool open from 8 am to 10 pm, and a barrel sauna sits by the water. Self-parking costs $35 a night plus taxes. Dogs are welcome in reserved pet rooms, and the fee of $35 a night plus tax stops after two nights.
In October 2026 The Den was serving breakfast only, and the Lakeside Lounge took over dinner with a three-course fall menu for $38 from 5:30 pm. Fix Cafe opens at 6:30 am for Salt Spring Island Coffee, and Creekbread's wood-fired flatbreads are a short walk away. The lodge says direct bookings for winter made by 30 November save up to 25% and come with a dinner credit.
