The Peak 2 Peak Gondola links the Roundhouse on Whistler Mountain with the Rendezvous on Blackcomb across 4.4 km of open valley, and it suits non-skiers who want the alpine in winter. Pre-booked winter sightseeing costs $158 an adult for 2026/27 through Tourism Whistler, and cloud on the peaks can hide the view on the day you go.

Access
Tourism Whistler says the Whistler Village Gondola, the Blackcomb Gondola and the Peak 2 Peak all take wheelchairs. The Roundhouse Lodge has an elevator to its upper floor, and both lodges have accessible washrooms. From the Rendezvous Lodge to the Peak 2 Peak terminal is about 78 m at an average grade of 5.7%.
Whistler Blackcomb bills the Peak 2 Peak as one of the world's highest lifts of its kind, and at its highest the cable hangs 436 m above the valley floor. It runs 4.4 km between the Roundhouse at 1,850 m on Whistler Mountain and the Rendezvous at 1,860 m on Blackcomb, and Tourism Whistler times the crossing at about 11 minutes each way. Each cabin carries up to 28 people. Two of them have glass floors, so watch for one as it swings into the station.
A winter sightseeing ticket takes you up from the village and across between the mountains, and Tourism Whistler says it includes the Umbrella Bar at the Roundhouse. Inside the Roundhouse you'll find Steep's Grill & Wine Bar and a ramen station, and Christine's on Blackcomb serves full-service meals in the Rendezvous. Tourism Whistler suggests about two hours for the whole outing, because you ride other gondolas to reach the Peak 2 Peak first.
Online sightseeing sales close three days ahead. Inside that window you buy at the Whistler Visitor Centre, where Tourism Whistler says tickets don't sell out, and since nothing prints at home you bring photo ID to collect them. Child prices go by age on the day you buy. Dogs stay off the gondolas unless they are certified aid dogs or avalanche rescue dogs.
The mountains stand on the shared, unceded territory of the Líl̓wat Nation and the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), as the Resort Municipality of Whistler acknowledges. From Vancouver, Epic Rides runs coaches from Burrard Station to the Gateway Loop in 1 hour 45 minutes, and the village gondolas are a short walk from the loop. On the winter timetable from 27 November the last Epic Rides coach back leaves at 7 pm, or at 9 pm on Fridays.
