The company makes its brooms on Granville Island with traditional Shaker methods. Broomcorn is a sorghum, and the company buys it raw and unprocessed from northern Mexico so the fibre stays strong. No two brooms come out the same. Handles turn up in cedar, arbutus, juniper or willow, depending on what the makers have scavenged.

Round untrimmed brooms clear a patio fast in a circular sweep. Trimming the soft tips stiffens a round broom so it reaches into brick and tile, and the flat Shaker broom works with a dustpan indoors. The company says a broom lasts many years of daily use. It ships to the United States without tariffs.
