Strathcona North in the Lonsdale Quay building suits a pint and a proper plate with a view of the water, about 135 metres from the SeaBus terminal. Its fall 2026 menu runs from fish and chips to mussels cooked in Strath beer, and it closes at 9 pm Sunday to Thursday, so treat it as an early evening stop.
What to order
- Strath Lager-battered ling cod and chips
- Mussels in beer with chorizo and chili-garlic butter
Strathcona Beer Company opened this second taproom at the Quay after its brewery on East Hastings Street in Vancouver. The room leans on natural wood floors and a green palette, and a large indoor tree gives it a bit of the outdoors. A bottle shop sells Strathcona beer and LOLO products to take away.
The fall 2026 menu starts with $5 house pickles and tops out at a $32 grilled salmon. Ling cod and chips come in a batter made with Strath Lager for $26, and the mussels arrive in Strath beer with chorizo for $29. Handhelds include a vegan cheeseburger at $22. Book a table through Tock, or walk in on the way to or from the SeaBus.
Worth knowing
- Pick up cans from the bottle shop on your way to the SeaBus.
- Book through Tock for a Friday or Saturday, when Strathcona North stays open until 10 pm.
