North Point Brewing at 266 East 1st Street suits a relaxed pint in a cabin-style taproom that welcomes guests of all ages. What to order
- A $6 pint at weekday happy hour
- The sweet and spicy salami pizza from NICLI
Three locals from Vancouver's North Shore built North Point around their love of West Coast cabin adventures, and the rustic taproom and the logo both follow the idea. The pizzas come from NICLI Antica Pizzeria and are baked in house. A margherita costs $19.50 and a pepperoni $21.50, and the chips and salsa come from Las Margaritas.
Happy hour runs from noon to 5 pm Monday to Thursday, with $6 pints. Upstairs, a renovated loft looks out at the mountains and downtown Vancouver and takes private parties of up to 60. For live music and food truck nights, the brewery sends you to its Instagram.
Worth knowing
- Come before 5 pm from Monday to Thursday for $6 pints at happy hour.
- Bring the kids, since North Point welcomes guests of all ages.
