Cypress Bike Park is the lift-served bike park Cypress Mountain is building on Black Mountain in Cypress Provincial Park, and it will suit riders who want flow and technical trails close to Vancouver once it opens in summer 2027. Cypress had posted no opening date, prices or trail count by 16 October 2026.
Cypress Mountain ran a lift-served bike park through the 2005 season and closed it to prepare for the 2010 Winter Games. On 12 August 2026 Cypress announced that BC Parks had confirmed a new park under the resort's Controlled Recreation Area Master Plan, with an opening targeted for summer 2027. Gravity Logic of Whistler leads the design and build, which Cypress plans in phases over three years.
Cypress plans a beginner-to-advanced progression on both flow and technical trails, with jump lines and rock features among them, and riders will take a chairlift up and ride purpose-built trails down. Parts of the original 2005 trail corridor come back into use. Cypress says the bike park sits wholly inside the resort's Controlled Recreation Area and closes no public trail or backcountry route in Cypress Provincial Park, during the build or after it opens.
The first phase of building began in August 2026 on ground that has seen earlier use, such as old trail corridors and ski runs. Later zones wait on the same phased approval, and Cypress has set no dates for them. Cypress says it will confirm the final trail count and features for opening as the crews work the terrain. Riders got an early look at the mountain in October 2026, when Cypress hosted the Canadian debut of Red Bull Hardline.
