Union Steamship Marina Resort

Cottage 1 dates from the 1920s and is one of the few Union Steamship Company cottages still standing. Inside it keeps whitewashed panelling and a claw-foot tub. Cottage 2 sleeps seven and the Summer House six. Couples take The Loft, which puts a king bed up in the Summer House building, and a family of four fits the Garden Suite.
Before tax, winter rates from 15 October 2026 to 30 April 2027 start at $270 a night for The Loft from Sunday to Thursday and reach $380 for Cottage 2 on a Friday or Saturday. Most units have wood-burning stoves, and Metro Vancouver's bylaw lets you light them from 15 September to 15 May, so a winter stay gets the fire. The resort sets a two-night minimum from 1 May to 15 November.
Check in from 4 pm at The Company Store with photo ID. Up to two pets can come at $60 each a visit, and winter parking costs $10 a night per car. BC Ferries is rebuilding parts of the Snug Cove ramp overnight from 29 October 2026 to 1 March 2027, from 11:30 pm to 5 am on weekdays, so light sleepers should ask for a unit away from the terminal.
