Andrea Tong and Robert Tucker founded Got Craft in 2007, and the two of them still produce the spring and holiday markets in-house. Each holiday weekend brings 100 makers selling clothing, jewellery, ceramics, paper goods, skincare and food. The organizers say half the vendors on the second weekend weren't there on the first.
Kids get the Mini Makers Area, where sellers aged 16 and under run their own stalls, and there's a free do-it-yourself station. Food trucks park outside. Saturday mornings are the busiest, and the organizers suggest 2 to 3 pm for a calmer visit.
The Commercial–Broadway SkyTrain station is a 10-minute walk away, and the 20 bus stops in front of the hall. Free street parking surrounds the venue, and the Croatian Cultural Centre has lots at the front and back. Got Craft welcomes leashed, well-behaved pets.
