Standard buses take 3 hours because they call at Melville Street outside the Hyatt Regency by Burrard Station and at the Squamish Adventure Centre.
A Standard one-way ticket from YVR costs $55 and a round trip $75, and from downtown the Standard fare drops to $32. Children from 6 to 12 pay half, and under-6s ride free. From 22 November the last bus of the night is an Executive run that leaves YVR at 10:00 pm and pulls into Whistler at 1:00 am.
Skylynx coaches leave on schedule, and when a late flight makes you miss your bus, Skylynx moves you free to the next bus of the same ticket value; call 604-326-1616 or ask at the kiosk. Flexible tickets give more room to change plans. Wi-Fi on board is free with no guarantee of a signal, and the luxury coaches carry washrooms.

Where should you sleep for a Sea to Sky day so you don't have to drive back to Vancouver?
A night up the highway turns a ten-hour coach day into an evening by the mountains and a lie-in. The coaches still decide how you get home, so book the bed and the seat together.
