Rent a bike at the park
Grouse Mountain rents its own fleet of 60 Norco bikes, sized from 20-inch wheels to XL, at the Rental Outpost just inside the bike park, uphill from the Peak Chalet. In 2026 the bike package with helmet, gloves and knee and elbow pads cost $109 for riders 13 and up and $79 for children aged 6–12, and booking online ahead saved $10. Every rental includes a full-face helmet, which rental riders must wear.
Grouse Bike Park opened on Friday 6 June 2025, and Grouse calls it the North Shore's only chairlift-accessed bike park. Cypress plans to open a second one in summer 2027. Gravity Logic built the trails, and the same Whistler firm designed and built the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Riders come up from the base on the Red Skyride and ride every trail down to the Screaming Eagle chairlift, which carries them back to the top.
Beginners start in the Lemon Squeezy learning zone, with its pump track and small wooden features, and move on to the green Tim's Trim and then the blue Oh Deer!. Sooty's Jump Line is one of the park's cornerstone trails, and Grouse says riders need jumping skills for its machine-built jumps. The black Paper Cut follows most of the downhill course from the World Cups Grouse hosted from 2001 to 2003. Grouse's FAQ counts 15 trails plus the learning zone.
In 2026 an adult day ticket cost $89, or $74 for Lower Mainland residents, and a twilight ticket for 4:30 pm to close cost $49. Summer hours ran from 10 am to 8 pm every day between 27 June and 31 August, and in October the park opened at noon on weekdays. An adult paid $459 for the 2026/27 Bike Park Pass+, which covered the rest of 2026 and the whole 2027 season. It came off sale on 12 October.
Riders must be 6 or older and wear a helmet, and Grouse strongly recommends a full-face helmet and pads. E-bikes are allowed for downhill riding only. Bikes stay inside the park boundary, with Mountain Highway the one exception, and riders holding a bike park ticket or pass can come in that way. The Red Skyride has been closed since 28 September 2026 while its 1976 cabins are replaced, and Grouse's FAQ sends riders up the Blue Grouse Gondola whenever the Skyride is shut.
