Cabin Trail is a Very Difficult mountain bike trail on the Seymour side of the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve in North Vancouver, and it suits experienced riders linking the upper reserve trails down to Dale's. The winter gate cuts the day short, because Metro Vancouver closes the reserve at 5 pm from November to February.

Metro Vancouver's trail map marks Cabin Trail with a black diamond as Very Difficult. It runs south from its junction with CBC Trail and Enquist down to the top of Dale's Trail and Mushroom near the reserve's eastern edge. The District of North Vancouver's layer shows the same line in nine short sections and grades none of them.
Metro Vancouver's 2026 work permit for the North Shore Mountain Bike Association lists Cabin and Cabin Fever among the trails its volunteers may maintain. BC Parks keeps a separate Old Cabin Trail up in Mount Seymour Park for hikers only, so check which one a friend means before you set off.
Worth knowing
- Metro Vancouver opens the reserve at 6 am all year and closes it at 5 pm from November to February, and every vehicle has to be out through the lower gate at the bottom of Lillooet Road by the posted closing time.
- Only Class 1 pedal-assist e-bikes may ride in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve, and Metro Vancouver asks their riders to stay under 30 km/h and yield to everyone else.
- Metro Vancouver tells its own trail crews to expect no phone signal in most of the reserve's trail areas, so leave a trip plan with a friend and carry North Shore Rescue's 10 essentials.
