Learn to Turn is the way in for complete beginners aged 15 and up, who stay with the same group across 2.5-hour sessions. Its Jump Start camp on 5 and 6 December costs adults without a pass $299, priced lower because Seymour expects only the learning terrain to be open that early. On lesson day, arrive an hour early and no later than 30 minutes before the start. Children aged 3 to 6, plus seven-year-olds in Bear Cub, check in at the Bear's Den at the far end of the P4 lot, and everyone else goes to the Lesson Check-in hut in front of the Rentals building. Seymour lends a helmet and poles to every student who needs them. Parents of camp and private-lesson students can buy a half-price Parent Pass for skiing or snowshoeing while they wait.
