End of the Line General Store in upper Lynn Valley suits walkers heading for Lynn Canyon or Lynn Headwaters who want a JJ Bean coffee and a snack first, and it opens from 9 am to 5 pm every day. It shuts at 5 pm, which rules it out after a late finish on the trails.

Metro Vancouver closes the paved lot at Lynn Headwaters
Metro Vancouver has closed the paved parking lot at Lynn Headwaters Regional Park while construction goes on, and it gives no date for the lot to reopen. You can still park in the gravel lots and in the marked spaces along the road. Walkers and cyclists keep using the road. Follow the posted signs and whatever the work crews tell you.

What to order
- JJ Bean coffee
- Trail Pucks
The store stands at 4193 Lynn Valley Road, on the corner where the Lynn Valley trolley line ended in 1910, and it took its name from that last stop. It opened as a general store in 2005, and its shelves carry local goods from pottery to honey.
JJ Bean supplies the coffee for the hot and cold drinks. The counter sells soups, sandwiches, scones and ice cream, and the store makes its own Trail Pucks, which are gluten-free and vegan. It calls itself a home base for the trails around Lynn Headwaters and the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve, and the store puts the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge a few minutes away.
Metro Vancouver has closed the paved lot at Lynn Headwaters Regional Park for construction, so parking there is in the gravel lots and the marked roadside spaces (checked 16 October 2026). The staircase from Lynn Valley Road that links the Baden-Powell Trail to the park is closed for replacement too. That work is expected to run until late November 2026, and the regional park asks walkers to follow the posted alternate routes.
Worth knowing
- The store opens at 9 am, so a dawn start on the trails needs coffee from somewhere else.
- Metro Vancouver asks Lynn Headwaters hikers to leave a trip plan with someone they trust and to carry essentials that include a headlamp and a first-aid kit.
