Every Grouse program starts at the top of the mountain. Ski Wee families meet at the flag outside the Peak Chalet 15 minutes before the session, where an instructor in a blue jacket checks the kids in. Sessions for three- to six-year-olds run from 9 am to noon or from 1 to 4 pm, Wednesday to Sunday, from 16 December 2026 to 28 March 2027. Grouse adds every day of the Christmas break and skips 25 December and 1 January. The rate covers a helmet and a snack, and it includes a Mountain Admission ticket so one parent can ride up and watch.
Zone Camps carry kids and teens through four or five days in a row, half days or full days, all season. On the early-bird sale a four-day half-day camp costs $360 in the camps lettered A to I and $288 in the later camps J to M, and the lift and rentals cost extra. Camps over the winter break from 20 December 2026 to 4 January 2027 carry a $50 premium. Each camper goes home with a CIBC Grouse Snow School toque.
Families who live close enough can sign up for a whole winter of Saturdays or Sundays. Zone Club teaches beginners aged 7 to 12 over 10 full days from 9 January to 14 March 2027, and All Mountain Masters moves riders aged 10 to 14 into moguls and varied terrain on the same calendar. Each costs $1,360 on the sale, with $204 more for the lift. The 9 am to 3:30 pm day counts the trip up and down, so Grouse puts time on snow at five to six hours.
Grouse also hosts the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance Level 1 course for skiers 14 and older, three days from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm for $545 plus GST, and the lift ticket costs extra. Five sessions run between 11 December 2026 and 4 April 2027. Avalanche Canada lists Grouse Mountain Resort as a course provider, and the lesson page shows a two-day AST 1 marked coming soon. Adults who want a regular lesson should check back, since Grouse had not posted dates for its adult or private lessons by mid-October.
