Vail Resorts prices the Epic Pass in US dollars, and its 2026/27 pass page shows no Canadian price, so your card's exchange rate sets the final bill. The price climbs as the season nears. Vail's August release put the adult pass at US$1,119 until 7 September, and by 16 October the page read US$1,169. Anyone from 13 to 30 pays US$929 under Vail's new 20% teen and young adult pricing, and Vail checks ages after you buy.
For a winter spent mostly at Whistler, price the Epic Local Pass beside it. At US$869 for an adult, the Local gives 10 days in total to share between Whistler Blackcomb and the Vail and Beaver Creek resorts in Colorado. It keeps you off all of them on Vail's restricted peak dates, which for 2026/27 fall on 27–28 November, 26–31 December, 16 January and 13–14 February. On those days Local holders can buy Vail's Advanced Lift Ticket Rate at Whistler instead.
Beyond Whistler, the full pass adds seven days in total at the six Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, from Fernie and Kicking Horse in the BC Rockies to Mont-Sainte-Anne in Quebec, and tickets there are half price after that. Stevens Pass in Washington is the closest of Vail's American resorts. Partner resorts don't read the My Epic phone pass, so pack the plastic card for Fernie or Rusutsu.
Worth knowing
- Check the price before you wait. The adult Epic Pass went from US$1,119 to US$1,169 after Vail's 7 September deadline.
- Skiers who rode Whistler Blackcomb on a lift ticket in 2025/26 can apply up to $175 of it toward an Epic Pass if they qualify, according to the resort's home page.
- Set your Epic Coverage choices when Vail emails in the fall. The choices decide your refund if something goes wrong, and your access stays the same whichever you pick.
