Without the peak-dates option, the 2026/27 Epic Day Pass can't be used on Vail's restricted peak dates: 27–28 November 2026, 26–31 December 2026, 16 January 2027 and 13–14 February 2027. Buying the peak-dates option lifts that restriction.

It leaves out
- Epic Friend Tickets don't come with the Epic Day Pass.
- Day Pass holders miss the summer scenic lift rides that season pass holders get.
- The 32-resort and 22-resort tiers leave Whistler Blackcomb out.
- Grouse Mountain, Cypress Mountain and Mount Seymour take no Vail passes. Cypress is on the Ikon Pass, and Grouse is one of Ikon's Bonus Mountains.

You build the pass on epicpass.com by choosing one to seven days and a resort tier. Whistler Blackcomb appears only on the All Resorts tier, where one day costs US$147 and seven cost US$716 without peak dates. That comes to about US$102 a day on the seven-day pass. Anyone 13 or older pays the adult rate, and children from 5 to 12 pay US$78 for one day or US$375 for seven.
Adding peak dates costs US$28 more on a one-day pass and US$130 more on a seven-day pass. Without them the pass is shut out on Vail's restricted peak dates for 2026/27, which run 27–28 November, 26–31 December, 16 January and 13–14 February. Pay for the peak dates if your Whistler days fall in the Christmas holidays.
Canadian and Washington State residents can also buy Whistler Blackcomb's own EDGE Card, so price it before you commit. The resort's August 2026 release put EDGE days from CA$90, and the Day Pass is sold in US dollars only.
Worth knowing
- Buy before the season starts. Vail says the Day Pass is on sale for a limited time and the deal disappears later in the season.
- Use the days however you like. All of them can go to Whistler Blackcomb, or you can keep one for Stevens Pass on a Washington trip.
- A three-day pass leaves out Telluride and the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, which come with four days or more on the All Resorts tier.
